Juniata College Raystown Field Station

The Raystown Field Station is located on Raystown Lake in Central Pennsylvania, USA. It was established by Juniata College and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1974 to provide special opportunities for environmental research and education. Facilities at the Raystown Field Station consist of the Lakeside Center campus which houses our residential academic semesters and Grove Farm which serves both overnight and day uses. All facilities are available for rental to the public when not occupied by Juniata programs. The 365-acre reserve lies in the Valley and Ridge province of central Pennsylvania and offers visitors access to the various aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems of this unique region.
