Ashland University Environmental Preserves

Ashland University’s five environmental preserves were established from 1996 to 2004.  Altogether, these 396 acres are located in three Ohio counties and include numerous habitat types and species valued for education, research, conservation, and community outreach. The five preserves are located in the Unglaciated Allegheny Plateau (Dayspring Preserve) and the Glaciated Allegheny Plateau (Black Fork Wetlands, Canfield, Rupp-Stahley, Stoffer).
