The Bollinas Field Station is a center of education, science and inspiration. It inspires biophilia, learning and environmental stewardship through equitable and accessible education and scientific research.
The Field Station is sited on the edge of two significant and major ecological areas, across the street from the Bolinas Lagoon and 1 mile from Duxbury Reef. Bolinas Lagoon is on the Ramsar Convention's List of Wetlands of International Importance; one of only seven North America marine estuaries designated as such.
