Biosphere-Atmosphere REU (deadline extended)
Friday, February 20, 2015 10:16 PM

The University of Michigan Biological Station will continue accepting applications for its REU, “Biosphere-Atmosphere-Hydrosphere Interactions in a Changing Global Environment,” until Monday, March 2, 2015. This is an extension of the original February 2 deadline.

Applications are being reviewed on a rolling basis. To optimize their chances of selection, we encourage students to submit their applications as soon as possible.

The REU summer program runs for nine weeks (June 23 - August 22, 2015) at the UM Biological Station on Douglas Lake in beautiful northern Michigan. Each REU participant will be mentored by a researcher or research team, and will receive a stipend of $5,000, travel and research supplies allowance, and free room and board at the Station.

REU is a nationally competitive, NSF-funded program open to rising college juniors or seniors.
