Governance and Sustainability Committee

The Governance and Sustainability Committee’s goal is to provide efficient operational procedures and documentation to support sound governance and transparency. The committee supports organizational leadership in review of Bylaws and the development of organizational policies and procedures. We are engaged in: 

Transitions: Providing clear guidelines to ensure smooth functioning and transitions in governance. 

Documentation: Creating policies, procedures, and guidelines to support OBFS operations. 

Sustainability: Establishing best practices to the Organization’s financial and human resources. Additionally, financial and institutional sustainability in its member stations is essential to OBFS’s future viability.

Transparency: Supporting transparency conducting OBFS business as publicly as possible.

Oversight: Monitoring Strategic Plan implementation; Adherence to Bylaws. 

Current Activities: Revising OBFS Professional Conduct and Code of Conduct policy; Monitoring Strategic Plan implementation; Policies and Procedures updates (ongoing); Organizational data storage practices.
