Guide to Programs, 2003, This annual publication describes all NSF programs available for the fiscal year.

Grant Proposal Guide 2003, This annually updated publication provides guidance for the preparation of unsolicited proposals (proposals that are not submitted in response to any specific program announcement) to NSF. The guide also describes the NSF proposal processing and review processes, and grant administration highlights.

January 2004 update
     Dr. Muriel Poston, at the 2003 Annual Meeting, provided a 550k PowerPoint file, NSF and OBFS, that includes the programs at NSF most likely to be of interest to OBFS members. Click on the link above and download the file.

- Proposals will be due April 14 this year, then early March in subsequent years.
- Cost sharing is now fixed at 30%.
- Indirect costs are now allowed.
